Born 1982 in Perth, Western Australia.

Motorsport has been a part of Ray's life since birth - only missing 6 West Australian Sporting Car Club race meetings in his lifetime and being track side doing photography since the age of 16 covering events for Auto Action Magazine among others.

He started Sim racing way back in the mighty Grand Prix days with a keyboard and then moved to the magical Thrustmaster T2.

Sim racing took a back seat when Onroad Radio Controlled Car racing took over his life. During that time, Ray won a West Australian State title in 2016 and the Australian National title in 21.5 Touring Car in 2017. Ray celebrated these victories like any other proud Australian - with a "shoey" or two.

Ray is currently part owner of Downunder Sim eSports and Southern Cross eSports, with the prior making their debut entry in Season 2 of the VW Jetta Cup.
